Charity Gets £10,000 Towards Saving Dogs’ Lives

This is great news!  A dog rescue charity which may have had to shut down within weeks due to a lack of funding has been helped by the Kennel Club Charitable Trust, which has given them a grant of £10,000. The Safe and Sound dog rescue charity, which saves the lives of 200 stray dogs each year, will now be able to carry on its work helping stray dogs from being euthanised. Dash, a four year old former racing Greyhound, has finally found his forever home after being overlooked for a year because of his size and boisterous personality. Abandoned Pregnant German Shepherd And Her Ten Puppies Found New Homes By Charity

Hazel, a two year old German Shepherd Dog, has finally found a new home, following a stressful four months after being abandoned heavily pregnant alongside her male companion and two puppies from her previous litter. Taken in by Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue in February this year, Hazel’s two six month old puppies were rehomed alongside Boz, her male companion.
