Will you Support your Favourite Dog Friendly Business?

Joanne Good and her dog Matilda, and Molly (belonging to Anna Webb in the foreground,) support the Be Dog Friendly Campaign, encouraging places to open their doors to dogs.
The Hardys Brasserie, Dorset Street, London, welcomes dogs.

The annual Be Dog Friendly Awards have returned and at the Kennel Club, we are asking for your help in nominating the top dog friendly businesses in the UK.

Will you help us champion local businesses that open their doors to dogs by recommending your favourite dog friendly haunt for the Be Dog Friendly Awards held in conjunction with Dog Friendly?

We want to hear about any business or area that opens its doors to dogs from cafes, to beaches, hotels to towns, caravan sites or high street stores.

The awards not only recognise the innovative way in which businesses make our dogs welcome, but also act as a campaign to encourage other businesses to discover the benefits of man’s best friend. With over 9 million dogs in the UK, and around one in four households owning a dog, there are millions of us on the lookout for places where their four-legged family members are also welcome.

The Be Dog Friendly Awards 2015 are held in association with Dog Friendly, the UK’s leading directory with over 32,000 entries including dog-friendly hotels, cottages, pubs, beaches, camping and caravan sites.

The winners in all categories will be determined by public recommendation and vote and everyone who makes a nomination or votes will be entered into a free prize draw to win a Samsung camera and Amazon vouchers, with runner up prizes of ten pairs of tickets to Crufts and Eukanuba Discover Dogs.

The awards will be presented at the Eukanuba Discover Dogs Show, to be held at ExCeL, London on 17-18 October 2015.

The competition runs until 15th September.  To recommend and vote for your favourite dog friendly places or businesses, please go to
