Fun Day For Alaskan Malamute Rescue A Huge Success

The AMCUK Rescue Fun Day really was just that…lots of dogs and owners and non-dog owners having lots of FUN!

The purpose of the AMCUK Rescue Fun Day is to encourage dog owners and potential dog owners to take part in activities with their dogs; breed specific activities for the Alaskan Malamute breed including a weight pull, scooter and rig trials and also general canine activities including obedience and agility.

AMCUK Rescue Fun Day

It was great to hear that The Alaskan Malamute Club of United Kingdom and the local community within Doncaster come together to share their canine interests.

Stalls ranged from AMCUK Rescue merchandise, working dog equipment, AMCUK Health stand, microchipping stall, sled dog working demos, grooming the Alaskan Malamute demonstration with Anne Nevinson – Secretary of AMCUK, Fun Dog Show, Rescue Parade and much more!

Of course, the other aim is to raise funds for AMCUK Rescue so the great work they carry out to help rehome Alaskan Malamutes that are need of a new forever home can continue.

The total amount raised at the event was £1180.00! Congratulations to all involved, it sounds like a fantastic day.
